AGT Junior Playoff Series & Scholarship Program

State Model Program

AGT Junior Playoff & All-State Scholarship Program is a state-level program that can be duplicated in all states to create a national team program. The state model features one or more high-profile fundraising events capable of sustaining the program.

All-State Talent Identification Program

Levels The Playing Field For Under-served Youth

The state model program is designed to level the playing field for under-served youth by providing them with an opportunity to compete for scholarships that will be used to defer expenses related to training, coaching and competition in AGT sanctioned events. This program will reward each state's best junior golf talent without regard to gender or socioeconomic background of the family. AGT sanctioned events include championships conducted by the First Tee, LPGA Girls Golf, Drive, Chip and Putt, PGA of America, U. S. Kids, Golfweek Tour, Hurricane Tour, AJGA, USGA Boys and Girls Junior, state high school associations and other recognized events.

Program Is A Bridge

From The Local Learning Program To Elite-level Competition

This AGT initiative is designed as a bridge from the local learning program to elite level competitive golf.As juniors develop through the AGT state talent identification program they will forever be identified as a “title sponsor All-State” player or some type of moniker to be agreed upon, like high school basketball’s “McDonald’s All-American” program.
